About Health Supplement Lab

Health Supplement Lab publishes lab notes for supplement buyers. Each review reads like an entry in a notebook. We write down what the label claims, what human research says at that dose, what the product costs per day and what the refund terms really say. Then we let you decide.

What “Lab” means on this site

We want to be plain about this, because the name could mislead. We do not run a laboratory. We do not send products for chemical testing. We do not buy products to test them on ourselves or anyone else.

“Lab” is the name for our desk method. It is a fixed set of steps we follow for every product. We read labels. We read published studies. We read public records such as FDA warning letters, recall notices and the sales terms on the checkout page. We record what we find in the same order every time, so one review can be compared with the next.

If a review ever mentions a lab test, it will be a test someone else ran, and we will name the source.

Why we started

Supplement sales pages are built to sell. They show a short list of benefits, a countdown timer and a bundle price. They rarely show the dose next to the research, the true cost per day or the fine print on refunds. Those are the details a careful buyer needs. We set out to put them on one page.

Who writes the reviews

Our reviews are written and checked by Ellis Warren, Lead Reviewer. Ellis reads supplement labels line by line, finds the human studies behind each main ingredient and works out what a daily serving really costs once shipping and bundles are counted.

Ellis is a researcher and editor. Ellis is not a doctor, pharmacist or dietitian and does not give medical advice. That is why every review points you back to your own clinician before you start a new supplement. Read our medical disclaimer for more.

What a review gives you

  • A clear list of what the label claims, in the brand’s own words.
  • An evidence grade for each main ingredient at the dose on the label.
  • The cost per day for every bundle size we can see.
  • A plain summary of the refund window, who pays return shipping and any steps you must follow.
  • Safety notes, known side effects and who should talk to a doctor first.

The full method is on our how we review page.

What you will not find here

  • No scores, star ratings or numeric grades.
  • No fake testimonials or before and after photos.
  • No claim that a supplement will cure, treat or prevent a disease.
  • No claim that we tested a product when we did not.

Health Supplement LabLab notes on every label

We log what the label claims, check each dose against human research, work out the cost per day and read the refund terms, then write down what we found. We do not run lab tests. No star ratings, no fake testimonials, no paid placements.
